General Trading Rules


Hello, traders! In this thread, you will find all of our trading rules that will need to be followed throughout the trading forums. If you do not follow the rules hereby given, warnings or removal of trading access could be a result.

Before I get started, please remember that WebkinzTown goes by EST (Eastern Standard Time) for when you make need to put a time on your threads.

Any TT with a posted update 30 days or older is subject to being closed. Though it can be reopened and retrieved at any time.

1. There is to be no trading through PMs or VMs, however, you may let them know you've responded or posted in their thread. All trades are to be made inside of the thread.

2. All bids in auctions are to be concrete, you may not edit your post to change your bid. Once you have made your bid, you are no longer able to change it. If you have to correct something, quote your original post and explain further.

3. Do not offer the same item in multiple areas unless you have multiples of that item.

4. Please keep all posts and offers easy to read. When adding to a bid, please put all of the items that were offered, then add your new items to the list so they know what you are completely offering.

5. When a trade is complete, please be sure to change the title to let staff know that it may be closed and moved.

6. There is to be only 1 thread in each section of the "Offical Trading Area". You may have unlimited threads in the "Auctions" area, as long as you are able to manage each of them.

7. After every trade you do, please be sure to leave feedback to the person you were trading with. In the Additional Comment Area please be sure to put what your items you traded and the items you traded for.

8. All trades should be done no longer than 48 hours unless you and the other trader have made arrangements. So please make sure you will have enough time to complete the trade before making an offer or accepting an offer.
*Traders are only required to hold an item for up to 24 hours, if you're offering. After 24 hours, they may move on to the next person*

9. Please keep the chatting in the trading areas low as the sections are made specifically for trading.

10. Those with a lower feedback score must always send first in a trade. That only goes for if you are part of the same group. For example, if it's a Trusted Trader trading with a Traderkinz, no matter what the feedback scores are, the Traderkinz will always send first before a Trusted Trader does.

11. All trades are to be dealt between two people. You may not go onto someone else's trading thread during a trade between two other people to try and get that trade to stop so that they go to your thread and trade that item to you.

12. No negotiating on Quick Trades.

13. There is to be no trading of Webkinz World accounts as it is very unsafe.

14. There is to be no trading or auctioning of ad credits.

Trading of Codes Information:

1. Trading of codes is allowed here, however, there is to be no trading of pet codes!

2. All codes must be PMed to the person that is to receive the code so that it is a code between you and the other trader. If it's not PMed someone else may snatching it before the receiver has a chance to grab it, which the fault would be on the one giving the code.

3. WebkinzTown will not be held responsible for any codes that do not work. That is between you and the person you are trading with.

4. Only first-hand codes may be traded - This means you may only trade codes that you bought & are in your possession. 

5. It is recommended that when you trade for a code that it is used within 24 hours. Doing this will make it easier for the issue to get resolved just in case there was an accident on the numbers typed in a PM to you.

6. If you traded for a code and never received it, it is the same as being scammed and we will ban the offender, once it has been confirmed that the scam happened.

*LIST OF CODES ABLE TO BE TRADED*

Caring Valley, Kinz Klip, Zum Buddies, wCares, Ornaments, Glam Bags, T-shirt Kinz Bags, and Mazin' Hamster Codes, Estore item codes (worth 10,000 for each $1) and Estore points codes (also worth 10,000 for each $1).
