so if I don't take down my Christmas tree today it will most likely be up until summer... and then if it's up at summer time I might as well leave it up a few extra months and put it away next January. that works... right?

LOL,If they have led lights you can just use that to lite a room and be energey efficient! I usually take the tree down a day or two after the first. Before I moved more into the "country" my neighbors would complain if I had Christmas lights or other decorations outside a couple days after New Years!

I don't see why you would want to take down decorations that quickly! they take soooooo long to put up!!

I love yard work so decorating my lovelies is always a treat! I do throw nets on my azaleas! Kinda mathematically defined but snow well!
