There was an update today in Webkinz Friends.

Winterfest Part 1 - Collect 200 Snowflakes and win a Webkinz Winter Games Stadium for WF. There is also a Winterfest Part 2. The prize for this is probably the 5 pack of eStore cookies for a chance to win the sleigh.



The other "Tech World" Challenge has 3 parts. After completing the first part you'll win Tech World for WF.

It'll take a while to get 200! The nice thing is they finally got rid of the candy cane on the WOW and we can now get snowflakes! That will really help!

I believe Part 2 is just building the Webkinz Winter Games Stadium that you receive in Part 1. You'll probably have to ask your friends for materials. After you build the stadium, you'll get the 5 Pack of Winterfest Cookies.

Yes, collecting 200 Snowflakes is going to take awhile. I have my Happiness at the maximum 50% and I still don't seem to be getting very many Snowflakes from clicking on buildings.

Good morning everyone!

As most of you might have seen, we've released Winterfest on Webkinz Friends! What you can expect for this release:

1. New Winterfest collection challenge which replaces the Candy Cane collection. Complete this be awarded some cookies to send back to your Webkinz account....

2. Two general challenge chains will have you working at a Tech World and Diner with some new clothing to send to your Webkinz account too.

3. The Santakinz Sleigh Ride is now available for gems in the Kinzmart for those who haven't completed the Candy Cane collection and still want it.

4. New interactive rides to celebrate the upcoming winter games as well as new indoor winter furniture.

For some reason, the snowflakes are plentiful on my iPad WF. I'm already at 145/200! But they are not as plentiful on FB WF. I only have 70/200. Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with the snowflake progress I've made so far.

I am over 100 on both accounts. seem to be showing up more. I gave up on WW, they never floated by much for me.

I just checked and I'm at 105/200 Snowflakes in WF. I only play on Facebook, don't have an iPad. More than half way there!

I completed all the Challenges tonight so now at least I can just focus on collecting Snowflakes from buildings.

I forgot to post that I made my 200 snowflakes a day or two ago on my iPad WF! For FB, I still have quite a bit more to go, but I've been so busy with RL stuff, I haven't really been on FB much.

For my iPad WF, I just need 3 more of that first item (can't remember what it was), then I can get my box of cookies!  I really hope I can win that Royal Ice Sleigh!  I have more friends that I can count on for my iPad than I do on FB (FB is my DD's account).  I still have to get enough snowflakes on FB, so I'm not even at the stage to build the stadium yet.

Just wanted to report that I completed my stadium and sent the box of cookies to my account. I haven't opened it yet. I probably won't get to it until late tonight, when I do my Asian dailies. I know it's a long shot, but I sure hope I get lucky!
